These pictures are taken during the first hour after Javan was born.

Seeing him for the first time and hearing his first cry was the most amazing and glorious moment of our lives. That moment will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Here are some pictures from the labor stage. We were waiting anxiously to meet our baby, wondering what he would look like, and longing to hold him in our arms. So our family stepped in with a sense of humor and a lot of love.

We're finally going to update Javan's blog!!!! Hooray! My little angel is currently taking a nap, so I'm taking this rare opportunity to scarf down some spaghetti while working furiously to get this project underway.

I've decided that it would make the most sense to start at the beginning and work my way to the present, so I'm now going to take you back the the hospital where Javan was first born.

We were so lucky to have our family and friends celebrate this life-changing event with us! We look back on those days in the hospital with fond memories of first moments with our son, first moments as a family. It was such a blessing to have our loved ones meet our baby for the first time! Thank you!

He was born on August 1st @ 5:15 pm
He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz, and was 22" long
He has lots of dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Javan has been such a wonderful blessing to us.
